Books there are aplenty.  King Solomon said as recorded in Ecclesiastes, "Of the making of books there is no end and much study is wearisome to the flesh."  But he also said, "Wisdom is better than strength.  Nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and all his words are not heard.  Words of the wise, spoken quietly, should be heard."  It seems like everyone is writing a book and most of them, at least the ones you hear about are written by known and highly publicized writers.  The frustrating thing is that some books are really very good and instructive but they do not see the light of day because they are "words spoken quietly."  

We are a little different, at Fox Personal Publishing, because we have a great desire to bring into the open original works written by people whose wisdom might otherwise not be heard.  Our books are usually personal and are not aimed directly at a wholesale commercial market.  Some of our authors simply want to get things recorded for the good of their kids or grandchildren.  Some authors have a unique, though perhaps not highly sought after, gift that they believe should be recorded for "whomever."
